Who we are

Toscana Biomarkers is a R&D company founded in 2006 by scientists from Florence and Pisa Universities, with the aim of developing and validating innovative tests in the field of autoimmune diseases diagnosis.

The mission of Toscana Biomarkers is the development of novel molecules capable to identify in patients sera autoantibodies, as specific biomarkers of autoimmune diseases. These molecules are used for setting up new products for diagnosis and follow-up of autoimmune disease patients and to support clinical evaluation of therapeutic treatments.

Toscana Biomarkers is located since March 2007 in the bio-incubator of Toscana Life Sciences Foundation in Siena.
