Diagnostic tests

Autoimmune disorders are diagnosed, evaluated, and monitored through a combination of autoantibody blood tests, blood tests to measure inflammation and organ function, clinical presentation, and MRI examinations.

In vitro tests based on the detection of antibodies as disease biomarkers can be efficiently used for the diagnosis and the follow-up of autoimmune disorders. Antibody-titer can be evaluated using different techniques, such as Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA).
