DIESSE Ricerche and Toscana Biomarkers Announce a R&D Collaboration Agreement
Siena, January 24. Today The Italian companies DIESSE Ricerche Srl and Toscana Biomarkers Srl have announced that both companies have signed a research and development agreement to develop innovative in vitro tests to diagnose and monitor autoimmune diseases based on novel proprietary peptides antigen.
“This promising partnership was started inside the Toscana Life Sciences Foundation incubator in Siena, where both companies are located. We anticipate significant results, which may contribute to improve the diagnosis of diseases of high social impact, such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis,” says Dr. Francesco Cocola, President of DIESSE Ricerche.
“This agreement will significantly move forward the transition of Toscana Biomarkers toward a fully integrated R&D organization, a very relevant goal of our investors,” declares the President of Toscana Biomarkers, Dr. Antonio Sanò.
